MENTORSHIP
We are reaching out to you as an Emerging Professional of the AEC community. We would like to invite you to participate in the American Institute of Architects Westchester Hudson Valley’s Chapter and Foundation Common Ground Mentorship Program.
Our objective with this program is to support the local AEC community and allied industries by providing a forum to lean, give back, and share knowledge. We aim to do this through the use of our collective creativity to help our local communities. With an endless possibility of creative collaboration projects, the real challenge may be picking one.
We have designed this volunteer mentorship program with a framework to guide each group of Mentors and Mentees. The framework will enable participants to tailor their communication, interaction, and achievements based on the pair’s determined goals. A key component of this is a flexible schedule allowing those with limited time the ability to participate. As the Mentee, you will have the opportunity to lead the agreed-upon creative collaboration as well as seek advice and listen to guidance from your Mentor. The Mentor’s role will be to listen, advise, provide constructive feedback, and participate in the agreed-upon creative collaboration.
We hope that by participating in this free program, it will highlight the many benefits of aligning with our organization and entice you to become a member.
Join us on Thursday, March 25 at 6:30 pm for our Free webinar, The Power of Incremental Change and for those who are interested, a Virtual Speed Networking Kick-Off Event to connect with like-minded professionals and learn more about the Common Ground Mentorship Program.
